Where did Mother Teresa Work?

Mother Teresa was a nun who devoted her life to help the poor, sick, needy people. Mother Teresa or Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu worked in Kolkata, India. She was born in 1910, in Macedonia. She decided to devote her life to the service of God at an early age. When she turned 18, Agnes joined the Sisters of Loreto to become a missionary to India. In 1931, she became a nun and chose the name Teresa. She was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979.
