Humour is something that is funny, comical, or amusing that makes us laugh. Humour can be in form of a joke, a movie scene, a drama sequence or a story. Different people laugh at different things, which means what one might consider funny, may not make the other laugh at all! All kinds of people across all age-groups react to humour. Most of us who respond by smile, laugh or amusement to humour are considered to have a ‘sense of humour’. Children might prefer loud-whacking sounds, funny gestures and acts, while grown-ups are generally amused by wit or satire, a surprise, a twist in words while speaking or mimicry.
