What are UFOs?

UFOs are ‘Unidentified Flying Objects’. The term ‘UFO’ for Unidentified Flying Object was coined by the US Air Force officer Edward Ruppelt in 1952. Some people call them ‘flying saucers’, while some call them ‘alien ships’. Various theories exist about what UFOs might actually be, but these are just notions as basically no UFO has been actually observed in a science lab. Any sighting in the sky or even on land which has no logical or natural explanation about its appearance, actions, etc., could be called a UFO. It could be anything from a spot of light moving in the sky to a saucer-like disc, sphere, etc. Its movement also varies greatly; it could shoot past, zooming faster than an aeroplane or just stay suspended silently in the sky.
