Interesting fact : This moth is also popularly known as the Oleander moth, since the larvae of this insect feed on the Oleander plant.

These moths are dark blue colour with white polka dots on the tips of their wings and also on their abdomens. The male and the female in this species contact each other by means of ultrasound signals, emitted by the female. The larvae feed on not only the Oleander plant but also the devil’s potato and desert rose plant.
