Franco and Nixon were best friends since childhood. Every year, they visited faraway places. This year, they decided to visit an amazing oasis deep in the desert. They! started the journey. On their way, Franco and Nixon had an argument. The argument got heated up and Nixon slapped Franco on his face. Even though Franco felt hurt inside yet he did not say anything. He just wrote on the sand: ‘TODAY MY BEST FRIEND NIXON SLAPPED ME’. Franco and Nixon walked in silence and soon reached the oasis. They decided to bathe. Suddenly, Franco got stuck in the swamp. He was about to be drowned. Quickly, Nixon saved him. After he had recovered from the near drowning, Franco carved on a stone: ‘TODAY MY BEST FRIEND NIXON SAVED MY LIFE’. Nixon was surprised. He asked Franco, “You wrote on the sand when I hurt you and on a stone when I saved you. Why?” Franco smiled and replied, “Writing on the sand denotes forgiveness. Writing on the stone symbolises engraving something on your heart forever.”
