Trapezius muscle is found in the upper and back portion of the neck, shoulders and chest. This is one of the vital muscles of the upper part of the back. It is a large triangular muscle. It extends from the uppermost point of the neck to the spine and the shoulder blade region. The main functions of this muscle are to provide support to the shoulder, and limbs and help in the movement and rotation of the neck.
