Do you know that a good nights’ sleep can do a lot more than just refresh your senses?
INSTRUCTIONS
- Distribute the experiment among your friends with each one having 1 test subject.
- As soon as the test subject wakes up, he should measure his height precisely.
- Repeat the experiment again in the afternoon, and again in the night.
- Repeat the experiment for 5 days, measuring the subject’s height thrice every day.
- Also, record how long each subject has slept the previous night.
- Collate all the notes.
RESULT
From morning to evening, there will be height variations. A person is taller in the morning by a few centimetres, especially if he has slept well. But by evening his height would have reduced a bit. This happens because of the pressure on our joints and vertebrae which causes small compressions in the cartilage of the spine.
