Once, a rabbit was playing with his sister. Their mother was sitting near by and watching them. Suddenly, she noticed that the rabbit was hopping in a strange manner. She wondered why he was doing so. She asked her son, “Son, did you hurt yourself somewhere?” The rabbit replied, “No Mother.” The mother rabbit asked him again, “You are hopping in a strange manner. Why are you not hopping like your sister?” The rabbit replied “Mother! I learnt to hop like this from you.” The mother rabbit remembered that when she had taught her son to hop, she had a wounded paw. She said to her son, “I realize now that it is not your fault how you walk. You learnt what you saw. Now I shall take care that you learn hopping the right way.” So, the mother rabbit taught her son to hop the right way.
