Soon Absalom came to know about his father’s desires to meet him. He was also happy that he promised not to kill him. He returned back to Jerusalem and met his father who was quite happy to see him. Absalom wanted to become the king, and started attracting people by his good deeds. Soon people realized how good he was, and praised him. He was not sure if he had to wait until his father’s death, but spent four years in doing good things for the people.
