Hosea was a prophet who lived in the north side of Israel. One day, God asked him to marry a woman who would betray him for another man. God wanted to teach the people of their unfaithfulness and their ungrateful attitude towards God. Hosea married the woman called Gomar with whom he had two sons and a daughter. One day she ran away from him and he was heartbroken for the same. He was so sad that he went back to his people and conveyed the people what he was asked by God. Then he heard God’s voice again who asked him to get his wife back, no matter if she had left him. He did as he was asked to do. He found his wife who was nothing more than a slave. After getting her back home he took care of her with love and passion. This was the way God told people to come back to Him and He would love them as nothing had happened.
