Once, there lived a flock of foxes in the jungle. All were very laborious but a fox named Prom was very idle. It was a sweltering hot day. The foxes were working hard to gather food for winter. But Prom kept lying under the shade of the sunflower all day and listened to the birds singing. Goldy fox saw him and said, “Prom, soon it will be winter. You had better find food and store it.” Arima fox also told him the same thing but Prom ignored their advice. He was too busy enjoying the sunshine.
One day, the sky was filled with dark, grey clouds. It began to rain heavily. Poor Prom ran to find a place for shelter. He saw the other foxes hiding in a big hollow oak tree but they did not let him join them. The bears also chased him away. Prom realized his mistake but it was too late. At last, the birds agreed to carry him to the south where it was always warm and there was no need to store food.
