Once, there lived a horse by the name Kanthaka, who was strong, loyal, wise and intelligent. He was known as the Knowing One, as he always guided his riders without needing any instructions. One day, the armies of seven kings attacked the kingdom. The Raja ordered the soldier to take Kanthaka to defend. A night before, Kanthaka made a request to the soldier, “Let us win the battle in a peaceful way. Let us not kill the armies but make them captives. Put your trust in my abilities.” It was the greatest battle any kingdom had ever fought. Kanthaka, with his strength and wisdom helped the soldier to capture all the seven kings. Not even a single drop of blood was shed. Sadly, an enemy soldier injured Kanthaka. Even in that pain, he was happy that he had saved his Raja.
Moral: Peace is the real victory.
