A family of imps lived in a lake in wonderland. One day, three little imp friends, Gale, Herm and Dile, had a fight and parted ways. Suddenly, Herm saw a witch approaching the lake. Gale was merrily playing in the water. The witch bent to fetch water. At that moment, Gale jumped into the lake with a loud thud. The witch angrily shouted at Gale, “Don’t you see I am fetching water? How dare you jump in like that? I will teach you a lesson!” Saying this, the evil witch closed her eyes. Gale was terribly scared. Herm and Dile were watching all this from behind the tree. They both quickly climbed up the tree and gathered other imps, who were plucking fruits. They all planned and jumped into the lake, shouting in unison. This loud noise scared the witch. She thought warriors were coming. So, she ran away without even looking back!
