Once upon a time, there was a man named Jim. One day, he went to the library. There, he chose a book entitled ‘How to Ride a Horse’. He started reading the book. It was so interesting that he finished reading it at one go. One day, he went to see a friend. Now, this friend owned a horse. Seeing the horse, Jim couldn’t control himself and asked, “Can I ride your horse?” The friend said, “Sure! Be my guest!” Jim tried to sit on the horse. But a horse always recognizes its rider. It jumped up and flung Jim on the ground. The friend asked, “Where did you learn to ride?” Jim replied, “I learnt it from a book.” Hearing this, his friend started laughing. He said, “One must remember that one can’t learn riding by reading about it in a book. You need practical experience if you wish to ride.”
Moral: Practice is important.
