Far, far away from all places known to us is Griffland, the country of everlasting snow. Beneath the snow, below the soil lies gold–yellow, shining, expensive gold sought by adventurous people from around the world. However, nobody who went there in search of gold ever came back alive! The mighty griffins, who are half-lion and half-eagle, guarded their land fiercely and well. A little griffin, Gensey, did not like it when his family killed humans. However, no one listened to him. One day, Gensey helped a little man escape from Griffland. All at once there was loud thunder and bright lightning! The little man had changed into a mighty dragon! “I was ready to destroy the entire Griffland in search of gold,” he said, “May your generosity shine forever and keep you and your people safe!” Saying this, the dragon disappeared in a blaze of fire. Gensey’s parents were proud of him and everyone praised him.
