Once, there lived a bat, named Alfu, in the dense forest. Alfu always wanted to have a friend, with whom he could share his feeling. One day he was roaming in the jungle to find his friend. Suddenly he saw disputes between the birds and the animals and thought whose side he should take. He went to the birds and said that he was with them because he had wings. But the animals defeated the birds. After the battle, Alfu joined the animals who were celebrating their victory.
The animals asked, “What are you doing here?” Alfu replied, “How can I be a bird? I have teeth.” The next day, there was another battle. This time the birds attacked the animals with their beaks and defeated them. Now the cunning Alfu joined the birds and said, “I have wings, so I am a bird.” Each time Alfu joined the winning side. Finally, the birds and the animals decided to live in peace. When the chiefs of both sides came to know what Alfu used to do, they punished him. Alfu was told that he could fly only at night.
