He saw the woman who was busy picking the wood that was required for lighting purpose. He at once asked her to give him food, and she said that she didn’t have enough food to serve him. This was the last meal that she and her son would have and then they both would starve to die. Elijah at once replied that God would provide her with enough food until the drought was over and it happened as he had promised. Day after day, her bowl would have enough flour and oil to cook food for all three of them.
