Miss Blossom had arrived at the Mr Milder’s Farm to teach his children, Betty, Joan and Peter. Mrs Milder had died and Miss Blossom looked after everyone. The animals found her a very pretty, gentle young lady who was kind to all the animals too. She would take the Milders’ children for a walk around the farm, teaching them things about animals, birds, plants and several other things. The farm creatures got into the habit of following her around along with the children. They learnt about the winds and the sunshine, the earth and much more. They found all this very interesting, but were worried. “What’ll happen when Miss Blossom goes away?” they wondered, “The children will be sent off to school!” But a wonderful thing happened. Mr Milder and Miss Blossom fell in love and were married. The farm creatures were as delighted as the children.
