Once, a dark cave stood at the edge of fairyland. For years, the fairies were scared of the cave. Whoever passed by the cave, he heard loud sounds and believed that a monster lived there. The fairies did not want the monster to leave the cave, so they left food and gifts at the mouth of the cave. The gifts would disappear soon. Once, a young, curious fairy visited the cave. When she entered the cave, she heard loud and scary sounds. She was frightened but bravely kept moving. When she reached the other end of the cave, she saw a dwarf, sitting with musical instruments. The fairy asked, surprisingly, “Who are you? What are you doing?” The dwarf said, “The fairies make fun of me. So, I decided to scare them in revenge.” The kind-hearted fairy took the dwarf back to fairyland and told everyone the truth. There, the fairies apologised to the dwarf and welcomed him back.
