Once, a boy used to go hunting with his bow and arrow. One day, he saw an eagle dropping a dead snake in its nest. Then it flew away. The boy approached the nest and saw an eaglet in it. To his surprise, the snake stirred. It was still alive. The snake saw the eaglet and was about to strike it. But the boy killed it. Because he had saved its life, he decided to keep the eaglet. So, he picked it and headed for home. Suddenly, the eagle came there. It cried, “Why do you take my child from me?” The boy replied, “Because I saved your child from the snake that you did not kill.” The desperate eagle cried, “Give me back my child and I will help you to hunt.” The boy agreed. From that day, the eagle would fly and tell the boy where to find the best prey.
