In the strange land of Charmers, lived a beautiful witch named Maila. Green-eyed and golden-haired, with a creamy skin and a sweet face, she was indeed a sight to behold! The rest of the witching communities were quite ugly and jealous of Maila. One day, a foreign king entered the land of Charmers. He saw Maila and was enchanted. He asked her to be his queen. She agreed but she did not tell him that she was a witch. Her jealous companions tried to warn the king. However, the king would not listen to them. Years passed. The king and his witch queen lived and ruled well. One day, a great flood came in from the icy oceans up north. It was ready to destroy their kingdom. Maila brought her wand out from hiding. She shoved away the waters with a single word and wave of her wand. The king was stunned and grateful at the same time!
