Once, a white tom-cat lived in London. Whenever he was angry, he turned fiery red in colour. Then, he would turn dangerous. So, all the animals around him were careful of what they said to him. Nobody dared to say no to him. No one corrected him when he was wrong. As a result, he became very proud and careless. One day, the tom‑cat was about to nick a small child. He enjoyed playing such hurting games on weaker creatures. A little bird attacked the tom-cat and helped the child escape. The tom‑cat turned red and pounced on the bird. The bird turned into a large dragon. He picked the tom-cat up with his claws. The tom-cat begged for mercy but the dragon tightened his hold. Finally, the dragon let go of the white tom-cat with a warning. From then onwards, the tom‑cat lived in peace with his neighbours.
