Once, a vixen was feeling very hungry. So, she crept into a farm. Her mouth watered when she saw so many hens, ducks and fish. Without wasting a minute, she grabbed a hen and ran away. Now, she started coming to the farm every day. One day, the farmer noticed that his animals were decreasing in number. So, he kept a watch. He was furious when he saw the vixen. He set a trap and caught the vixen. To punish her, he dipped her tail in oil and set fire to it. The vixen started jumping around in pain. She started running madly everywhere. Now, the farmer had kept some wheat crops for pruning. As the vixen came near the wheat crops, they caught fire. All the wheat was destroyed. Sadly, now everything was over. The poor farmer regretted acting without thinking. It led to his own loss.
Moral: Think before you act.
