Tenali and the Vaidya

Tenali-and-the-Vaidya

Once, Tenali went to a vaidya with multiple complaints.“I see spots before my eyes,” Raman said. “It’s due to too much stress,” the vaidya said. “No food suits me,” said Tenali. “That too is due to too much stress,” said the vaidya. “My back is giving trouble,” persisted Raman, “Sometimes the pain becomes unbearable.”

“Too much stress,” said the vaidya.

This was too much for Raman. “Why do you go on saying too much stress, too much stress,” Tenali screamed, “If you cannot cure me. I’ll go elsewhere.” “See how easily you lost your temper,” said the vaidya, “That is another characteristic of too much stress.”
