The Spanish dancer nudibranch is a large, colourful sea slug living among coral reefs. They are over 40 cm long, have bright red mantles with golden gills and rhinopores. They crawl and swim feeding on sponges. These hermaphrodites lay brightly coloured eggs in spiral, ribbon-like mass on a solid substrate. Lifespan is less than a year.
