Absalom soon met David’s old loyal friend Ahithrophel and narrated his plot to capture David and his men in the palace. David’s son wanted to know what Hushai actually was thinking, so he stood back. Soon Hushai came to know what he was thinking and told him that there were chances that David might not have enough time to protect himself and his army. Thus he gave him the wrong plan, with an intention of confusing him. Soon Absalom realized that there were some spies in his area, and he wanted to find the same.
