Jehovah told Abraham that the people of Sodom and Gomorrah were sinners, and he was going down to see what the complaints were. Abraham asked him, “ How will you differentiate the good people from the bad ones? It is not good to penalize all of them, as few of them are not good.” Jehovah said that he would judge and do the right thing for saving the righteous people. He said that he would not punish any right our people, no matter how much their numbers might be. After answering his question he left for Sodom, as had decided. Later, Lot saw some strangers at his doorstep again. He passionately ran towards them and requested them to be seated comfortably, while he could cook some food for them.
