Poverty is the curse on the mankind. It is the root cause of violence in the world. For instance take the example of Mr. Y. He is a poor employee of an organisation. He is not able to earn enough to provide the necessities of life to his family. His wife always keep on quarreling with him. She is worried for the future of her children as they don’t have any money to put them in a good school. She is worried about the household expenses that includes electricity bills and water bills. They don’t have sufficient money to provide good food to their children. There is a quarrel between the couple on this very issues everyday.
Poverty is indeed the root cause of numerous quarrels and conflicts. It is the cause of many heinous crimes. Most of the criminals has poor background and have undergone many sufferings due to poverty.
The children of the poor families don’t get opportunities to rise in life, howmuchever talented they might be. The poor children become rebellious and commit heinous crimes because of frustration from life. The condition of the poor people must be made to improve. It is essential for the peace and prosperity in the world. The peace in the world cannot be attained if the poverty is not eliminated from the root, because it’s a known fact that ‘Poverty breeds Strife.’
