Kangaroos are the largest living marsupials. They have been categorized into four different species. Different species of kangaroos have different diets, but all species are herbivorous. They have powerful hind limbs that help them leap. After birth, newborns live in a pouch on the female’s belly, called marsupium, for approximately nine months.
