Once, there lived a jealous elf, Roxit. He was never happy with what he had. Rather, he always wanted what others had. The Happy Fairy decided to teach him a lesson and put a spell on him. The next day, Roxit saw the Brownie Brothers’ house and exclaimed, “Oh! I am better than they. I should have their brownie house!” As he said this, Roxit’s hair turned green. So, every time Roxit cribbed, one part of his body turned green. Soon, his hands and legs also turned green. Roxit was ashamed of himself and wailed sorrowfully, “Oh, I had such a nice body and face! Why did I complain so much?” The Happy Fairy appeared before him and said, “Roxit, God made you a unique and special person. You are special, too! Promise never to complain and I will take off the spell!” Roxit promised and was normal again. Then, he became a happy elf.
