It is a huge portion of landscaped land west of the Palace of Versailles. The Garden is situated in Versailles, France. The original designs were created in 1630 and were modified in 1660.

Why it is special: The Garden of Versailles is a classic French style garden landscaped beautifully over 800 hectares of land. The garden includes 50 fountains, 620 water jets, 5.57 km stretch of Grand Canal and over 2,00,000 planted trees and 2,10,000 flowers that are planted annually. The Gardens have more than 6 million visitors every year. The fountains, which are in full display from late spring to early autumn every year, add a unique element and charm to the Gardens.
