Saul hated David, day by day. Every day he would plan a conspiracy to kill the young and famous lad. David was aware of this fact; however, he trusted God and ignored it. He had a good friend in the Court house who was none other than Saul’s son Jonathan. He was aware that his father hated David, and had warned him earlier. As a token of friendship he gifted David with his swords, bow, and other things. One day Saul said that he was going to kill David, which surprised his son. He asked David to go and hide and spoke to Saul about not to kill David as he fought the giant and saved Saul’s life many times. Saul promised not to kill David.
