Felicity, the fairy, had a very sweet voice. Everyone asked her to sing during all the celebrations in fairy land. One day, Felicity was invited to a party in a neighbours’ house to sing a song. Felicity was thrilled to find ten flavours of ice-cream at the party. As she rushed to the ice-cream counter, Mama Fairy stopped her and said, “Dear, too much of ice-cream will spoil your health.” Felicity said, “No, Mama; ice-cream won’t hurt me.” Then, she delightfully ate as many ice-creams as she could. Later, the host requested Felicity to sing. Felicity came forward to sing but she was shocked! No sound came from her throat! Too many ice-creams had choked her voice! Felicity was almost in tears. She ran to Mama Fairy and said, “Sorry Mama; you were right. I will always listen to you.” Smiling, Mama Fairy touched her throat gently. Instantly, Felicity regained her sweet voice and began to sing!
