The drill is a large monkey with dark grey pillage; it has reddish-yellow stripes on its body, and some are greenish-grey as well with orange or white beards. They are essentially terrestrial but can be arboreal while foraging for food. The diet of the drill is largely omnivorous; they consume seeds and fruit, leaves and mushrooms, ants and scorpions, spiders and snails.
