The children are the soft targets of criminals, who kidnap, exploit, and torture them for vested interests and make the child’s life miserable through their evil activities.
Recently in Chennai an adoption racket had come into limelight, that was involved in the kidnapping of children and selling them to people settled down abroad.
A gang of kidnappers posed themselves as beggars and stole away the children to make a thriving business out of it. More than 300 children had been sent to many parts of the world including Europe, U.S.A. and a few states of India.
The gang would lure the child and sell him to childless couples and other people who wanted to adopt the child. The gang is operating in Chennai with the name of ‘Malaysian Social Service Agency’.
The children are exploited by the selfish people at every step of life, yet, there is no implementation of laws against them. They run scot-free after committing the most heinous crimes.
The rich employers take lot of work from the children but pay very less to them. Even some greedy parents sell their children to wealthy people with the intention to accumulate money and lead a luxurious life at the cost of their own child.
Recently, a journalist mentioned the name of a father who used to rape his daughter after the death of his wife. The man has become worst than the animal, as he doesn’t have any control over his own desires.
There’s a dire need to make strict laws for the welfare of children and implement them so that the anti-social elements don’t ever dare to exploit children ever again.
