Only 0.7 mm in length, these tiny bugs are famous for thedistinctive taste they lend to various varieties of cheese. Their diet is also comprised of corn, flour, smoked meat, honeycombs apart from cheese. Once they start feeding on the cheese, they form colonies on the surface of the cheese, covering it in a grey powdery substance.
