Cartilaginous-joints

Cartilaginous joints are slightly movable joints in which the joint surfaces are joined by cartilages. The joints between the vertebrae in the spine and joints between the ribs are the common examples of the cartilaginous joints.

The injury in the cartilage causes pain in the cartilaginous joints. The pain in the joints and stiffness is one of the classic examples of cartilage injury.
