You will need:

  1. Orange fruit
  2. 4 equal lengths of string
  3. Kebab stick (skewer)
  4. Cork
  5. Needle

Convert your backyard into a haven for birds

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Ask an adult to cut an orange in half. Keep one half for yourself and the
    other half to use as a birdfeeder.
  2. Next, ask the adult to help you tie 4 equal lengths of string by piercing the skin of the orange. Tie the strings together at the top.
  3. Take your kebab stick and pierce the cork through one end.
  4. Pierce the kebab stick and cork horizontally through the middle of the orange so that it may act as a perch for the birds.
  5. Hang your simple yet fun birdfeeder in your backyard from a tree branch or anywhere else which is easily visible to you from your home.

RESULT
