An area in Vermont, US, became popular for all the wrong reasons. Nicknamed as the Bennington Triangle, the area comprises the Glastenbury Mountain, and the towns Bennington, Somerset, Shaftsbury, Woodford and Glastenbury. These towns once flourished in the logging business and later for some reason became abandoned, ghosts towns. But the real reason for its nickname is due to the mysterious back-to-back disappearance of people in the five years between 1945 and 1950. People simply vanished into thin air while hiking or while travelling in a bus or truck or while camping. Strangely enough, no bodies were found with the exception of one.
