The azure damsel is a treat to the eyes with its blue and yellow body. They live as a group in acropora corals found in shallow waters. They form pairs for mating, following which the males prepare the coral for females to deposit their sticky eggs and guard them aggressively till they hatch. Plankton make up their diet.
