About 8 inches in size, this spider is light brown in colour and hairy. Unlike most other spiders, the flat huntsman is social, to the point that it even shares its food with others. Another notable fact is that it hunts its food rather than spinning a web to catch it. These spiders reside under barks of trees and live in large colonies.
