Until Joshua was alive, things were fine as Israel had a leader. He preached to the people and instructed them to follow God’s instructions. However after his death, everything changed the other way. With no leader, the people ignored the rules and teachings of Joshua. The teens now wanted to get related to the Canaan family and didn’t bother what all were taught to them. They followed the wrong practices of Canaan and started throwing kids into fire for better crop growth. God was disapp-ointed, after seeing such things happening around Him. The people of Israel did whatever they preferred. This made the Canaanites quite stronger and they started fighting against Israel. This was the time, when they appealed God to help them and as He loved them, never hesitated to help them.
