Long ago, a king and a queen had a wonderful baby-boy named Alexander. When Alexander was young, he hurt a wizard by mistake. The angry wizard cursed him, “You shall be ugly and short until a beautiful girl marries you!” Lo! Alexander became very ugly. The heartbroken queen and king loved Alexander and took care of him. Years passed. Alexander grew in age but remained ugly and short. He wanted to break the curse but no pretty girl would marry him. So, Alexander left home. Before he left, his parents presented him with an invisible unicorn and a magical sword. Alexander travelled far and wide until he reached a snow-covered glacier. There, a monster had kept a beautiful girl captive. Alexander flew on his invisible unicorn and killed the monster with his magical sword. The girl was so grateful that she agreed to marry Alexander. As soon as they were married, Alexander became a handsome and tall prince. They both returned home and lived happily ever after.
