The Africanized honeybee is only slightly smaller than its European counterpart. Its diet is comprised of pollen and nectar. For their nest, they are not very selective. Anything from hollow trees to walls, old cars and garbage containers will do. They swarm and breed a lot faster than European bees, and are far more resilient.
