It was hot summer season, when we decided to visit the beautiful hill station Nainital. Nainital is an elegant land of scenic grandeur.
My mother got the luggage packed through our servants and my sister and myself made ourselves comfortable at the rear seats of our car. My father sat on the driver’s seat with my mother beside him at the front. My father was in very good spirit’s that day and thus he proceeded towards the wonderful hill station without feeling the burden of driving.
It is rightly said that if you find the work interesting, then you don’t feel the burden of doing it because you enjoy it. My father was enjoying the work of driving the car and thus he didn’t feel the burden of it.
After 7 hours of journey, we finally reached Nainital. It seemed like a heaven on the earth. The lush green trees, beautiful flowers, the gardens and the snow clad mountain tops seem so enchanting, that we like to spend our whole life in that wonderful place.
The Naini Lake is the main attraction of Nainital. It’s a beautiful lake and we enjoyed boating in it. We also enjoyed horse riding on Mall Road. To reach Snow View peak we used rope-way and it was really a thrilling experience.
We visited many temples and other places of tourist interest. We roamed in the midst of hilly areas and trees wondering at the beautiful creations of Almighty God. We also drove the ponies on the hilly areas and observed the scenic beauty of the rustling leaves of the trees and water rushing down the mountains.
We went to the market and bought some local made goods. We stayed in a hotel for a week and enjoyed our each moment out there. The local people were very cordial towards us and they fulfilled all our needs, without any obligations.
We had a great time there. While leaving the hotel, we paid good tips to the waiters and servants, who had taken so much care of us during our stay. We proceeded back towards our home with fresh mind and cheering spirits.
