The wicked wizard of Gothesville had forcibly married five princesses of different lands. When they did not obey his orders, he turned them into ogresses. One day, the wizard saw the fairy princess flying across his castle and decided to marry her. When he went after her, the Fairy Queen tried to stop him. The furious wizard put the magical kingdom into a deep sleep. He took the fairy princess to his castle, saying, “If you want your kingdom to wake up, you have to marry me.” When she refused, he put her in prison and made the wedding arrangements. However, the fairy princess encouraged the five ogresses to steal the wizard’s wand. They were afraid of the wizard’s magic but they gathered courage and stole his wand when he was asleep. When the fairy princess broke his wand, the wizard died. She turned the five ogresses back into the princesses and woke the magical kingdom up.
