Once, Lexi, the pixie, wandered too far from his village. He found himself deep in the midst of the Wudford Forests. The trees grew sky‑high. The plants and bushes were taller than he. He had never seen such a place before. He was very scared. Suddenly, Lexi heard hoof-beats. From behind a tree appeared Chiron, the centaur. “Who are you, O funny creature?” he asked. “I am Lexi and I am lost,” replied Lexi, fearfully. “There’s nothing to fear Lexi, let me take you on a tour of Wudford,” said Chiron. He took him around the forest and fed him fruit and honey. He introduced him to all other forest creatures. They showed him scenic spots, beautiful flowers, streams and waterfalls. Lexi had a good time. Then, Chiron showed him his home.
