Long ago, Fairy Marissa fought against another fairy. Queen Fairy was so angry that she took away her wings and sent Fairy Marissa to earth. Marissa reached a woodcutter’s hut. The woodcutter and his wife had no children. So, they lovingly took care of Marissa’s broken arms and healed her. One day, Marissa asked the woodcutter to bring a spinning wheel for her. The woodcutter brought one and Marissa wove a beautiful dress from it. The woodcutter sold it and earned a lot of money for it. Soon, Marissa made more and more dresses and the woodcutter became rich. One day, the queen of that kingdom heard of Marissa’s dresses. She visited Marissa and liked her so much that she offered, “Please marry my son and become the queen!” Marissa said, “No, I am a fallen fairy and I’m paying for my mistake.” Queen Fairy overheard Marissa and forgave her. She appeared before her and blessed her. Thus, Marissa happily married the prince.
