Long ago, a group of ogres lived in the forest. One day, the Chief Ogre announced, “We will have an autumn feast tomorrow. All ogres should bring wooden logs for the fire.” So, two ogres, Gandy and Tim, set out together to gather the logs. Tim always teased Gandy, “You are so ugly!” Gandy felt bad but never said anything. That day, too, Tim teased him. However, soon, they were busy searching for the best tree and found one by the side of the lake. They started chopping its branches. Suddenly, Tim’s axe fell into the water. Tim was worried, “What will I do now?” Gandy consoled him and said, “Don’t worry; I have learnt from the chief how to make wooden axes. Let us try and make one ourselves.” The two ogres set to work and created a strong wooden axe. “Wow! You are very talented, Gandy. I’m sorry; I teased you,” said Tim.
