Chen trudged through the snow, with no idea of where he was going. He had lost all sense of time, but it could not have been more than a day since the crash. Chen remembered flying over the mountains. His next memory was waking among the debris of the aircraft. He had searched, but found no one else alive. He knew that he would freeze to death if he stayed there, so he started walking. Now, Chen could barely feel his toes anymore, and his eyes hurt from the bright glare of the snow. Suddenly, he stood up straight. He could hear sounds of chanting in the snowy wasteland! Surely, a monastery was close by! With that happy thought, Chen cried for help and fainted. Luckily for Chen, the monks had seen him, and were already on their way to rescue him. When he woke up, he was warm and safe. He could not believe his ordeal was over!
